Situated conveniently on the main street between Broxburn and Uphall, Holmesview is at the heart of these two West Lothian towns and easily accessible for Edinburgh, Livingston and the surrounding countryside.

Holmesview is a beautiful, purpose built nursing home catering for a total of 60 older people. the design of the building lends itself to small group living by creating 6 self contained suites of 10 bedrooms, lounge, dining room and other facilities.

Each bedroom has a wet floor shower en-suite. there is a nurse call, TV and telephone point in every bedroom and WiFi throughout the home. Eight of the ground floor bedrooms have patio doors opening into the garden, which is safe and secure. All areas of the home are wheelchair friendly and designed to assist people with dementia.

Residents can choose cooked dishes from the menu or snacks, if preferred. They can join others in the dining room or be served in the privacy of their own bedroom.

Holmesview is staffed 24-hourly by qualified nurses and trained carers. Equipment is supplied for all nursing needs and medical cover is provided by your own GP or the local practice.

The Randolph Hill Group minibus visits the home taking residents on short trips or mystery tours. There is a wide range of weekly activities, from garden projects to flower arranging and fibre optic therapy.

The first floor, accessed by stairs or a passenger lift, has a large sun lounge. This airy room has a drop down cinema screen for film nights and can be used for gatherings and entertainment.
